Dr Sheila Singh speaks with ecancer at ESMO 2018 in Munich about techniques for identifying which lung cancer cells are most likely to metastasize.

She describes how, by using mouse models of lung cancer with added green fluorescent protein, a cancer cell can be tracked as it spreads and crosses the blood brain barrier.

These cells can then characterised as a pre-metastatic cell lineage, and Dr Singh describes her hope to improve the understanding of disease progression and metastasis.
